School Transport Rules
SCHOOL TRANSPORT
At STPS, nothing is more important than the safety and security of our Children. With this philosophy, we have put in a great deal of thought and effort in managing the School Transportation System. We manage School Transportation through a Transport Service Provider “St Thomas School Transport & Services”. We have a contract with the Vendor to provide transport to our school students by providing Bus / Cars.

Transport Rules :
- Bus / Cab Facility Once Opted Should Be Continued For Entire Year.
- All Students Using the School Bus / Cab Are Expected to Be at the Bus Stop at Least 5 Minutes Before the Arrival of Bus / Cab. They Should Be on the Left Side Towards Bus / Cab Door.
- Trasnport Facility Will Not Be Provided for Extra Classes.
- Transport Is a Facility and Does Not Entail Any Right to Students. If the Bus Is Late Does Not Reach ,breaks Down, Has Been Send on Govt.duty Etc ,the Parents Will Have to Make Their Own Arrangement of Dropping and Picking the Students.
- The Bus Will Not Wait for Late Comers.
- Students Should Not Attempt Boarding the Bus/Cab & Getting Down, Unless Bus/cab Stop Completely.
- The Bus Will Stop Only on the Designated Stops
- Students Should Maintain Discipline in the Bus/cab. Eating Inside the Bus/cab Is Not Allowed, and They Should Not Cause Any Damage to the Buses/cabs.
- Courteous Behavior Is Expected Inside the Bus/cab , Shrieking and Shouting in Bus Is Strictly Prohibited.
- Driver's Attention Must Not Be Distracted for Any Reason.
- Transport Charge Are to Be Paid for the Whole Session.
- Transport Charges Are Subject to Revision During Hike in Fuel Charges or Otherwise
- Students Will Not Be Allowed the Bus Facility Without the Bus Pass. It Should Be Kept Along With I Card.
- Strength of 1.5 Times of the Seating Capacity of the Buses Is Allowed by the Authorities. It Might Not Be Possible for All Students to Get Seat.
- If Transport User Student Leaves the School Without Informing the Transport in Charge on His Own, the Bus Facility Will Be Discontinued.
- If a Bus /cab User Chooses to Come School on His Own, She /he Must Immediately Inform, Transport in Charge, Cab /bus Attendant, Class Teacher and at the Reception.
